There is no specific law in Bangladesh that requires recognition and recording of vital events (birth, marriage, divorce, and death) of refugees that have occurred before coming to Bangladesh.

However, in practice, during joint and continuous registration of Rohingya refugees in camps, vital events are recorded in UNHCR's proGres database.
