Refugees have no formal right to work in Bangladesh and are not covered by any Bangladeshi legislation on labour protection. In the absence of national legislation on refugees’ rights to work and rights at work, there are no provisions available in any other domestic laws or policies that allow refugees or asylum-seekers access to state employment services.
