Do domestic laws and policies provide for specialized forms of education tailored to the needs of forcibly displaced and stateless persons?
Assessment by population
Analysis
Kenya's domestic laws and policies demonstrate a commitment to providing specialized education services for all children, including refugees, although gaps in implementation persist. The Basic Education Act (2013) emphasizes the right to free and compulsory education for every child, including marginalized groups such as refugees and children with disabilities. Various government-led initiatives and frameworks address the need for specialized support to promote equity and inclusivity in education.
