Description

The CHF aims to improve access to health care for the rural population and the informal sector through voluntary pre-payment schemes. Managed at the district level, the CHF provides a mechanism for communities to pool resources to access health services. 

Selected provisions
Section 9 - Health care services to members

Subject to the provisions of this Act, every members' household shall be entitled to medical services of its choice which have been prepaid for at a preselected health care facility within the respective district.
