Description
The "Procedure for Admission to Educational Organizations of Higher Professional Education of the Kyrgyz Republic," appended to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 355 of June 30, 2022, outlines the rules for selecting and enrolling students in higher professional education institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic. This procedure was developed in accordance with various articles of the Law "On Education" and other related regulatory legal acts in the field of education within the Kyrgyz Republic.
Selected provisions
38. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign citizens who studied in educational institutions of foreign countries must provide the admissions committee with an education document equivalent to a state document on secondary general education, primary, secondary or higher vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The equivalence of education documents issued by educational institutions of foreign countries is determined by the authorized body. Enrollment of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign citizens who studied in educational institutions of foreign countries is not allowed without providing a certificate of compliance with the level of educational content issued by the authorized body.
Based on the requirement of the authorized body, the official bodies of the state of origin of the foreign citizen confirm the authenticity of the document on secondary general education, secondary or higher vocational education.
