Description
The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic issued Order No. 1 on January 16, 2019, approving the Instruction on Document Verification for Individuals Crossing the State Border. This Instruction outlines the core procedures for border control authorities to inspect documents, aligning with the Law "On the State Border of the Kyrgyz Republic."

4. Foreign citizens and stateless persons enter the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic through checkpoints on the State Border open for international traffic, with valid documents and visas, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of the Kyrgyz Republic.
4.1. Documents for the right to enter the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic or exit from the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic of foreign citizens and stateless persons, in accordance with international treaties of the Kyrgyz Republic, are:
- diplomatic, service (special), foreign passports of citizens and subjects of foreign states;
- national (internal) passports of foreign citizens;
- identity cards of stateless persons;
- seaman's passport (book, certificate);
- travel documents (certificate, certificate) for return to the country of citizenship;
- passports of UN employees;
- identity cards of civil aviation aircraft crew members, service personnel of border transfer trains at an air (railway) checkpoint, subject to a general declaration (route sheet);
- refugee travel document;
- certificate of registration of an application for refugee status of a foreign citizen and stateless person (upon initial entry into the Kyrgyz Republic);
- other documents issued by competent authorities of foreign states, in accordance with international treaties of the Kyrgyz Republic.
