Adopted in 2009, the EPHS framework seeks to provide a comprehensive range of health services, focusing on maternal and child health, primary health care, and health preparedness. The Ministry of Health Development has adopted this framework to ensure the provision of quality essential health and nutrition services for all people in Somaliland, with a focus on women, children, and other vulnerable groups.
