Description
Recognizing the role of private security firms in supplementing public security efforts, this Act provides for the regulation of the private security industry.
Selected provisions
The object of this Act is to provide for a framework for the regulation of the private security services industry in Kenya.
All persons subject to this Act shall at all times—
(a) respect, uphold and defend the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution; and
(b) uphold and respect Article 238 (1) and 238 (2) (a) and (b) of the
Constitution; and
(c) recognize and respect the role of national security organs
