Description
An Act to provide for the establishment of the National Council for Higher Education, its functions and
administration and to streamline the establishment, administration and standards of Universities and other institutions of Higher Education in Uganda and to provide for other related matters.

(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1) the National Council may set ⎯

(h) any other provision that the National Council may consider necessary for setting a good standard in the Universities or Tertiary Institutions, including standards for equating institutions outside
Uganda to those in Uganda.
