Description

The Proclamation establishes a nationwide Digital Identification System for the registration of all residents of the country, including refugees and asylum seekers.

Article 3 Scope of Application

This proclamation shall be applicable on any person in Ethiopia.

Article 7(1) The right to get digital identification and the responsibilities of the institution or registrant

Any resident who registered for digital Identification by giving his biometric and demographic data shall have the right to get Digital Identification.
