In 2022, GoB authorised the implementation of a “Framework for skill Development” for the Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasan Char, under which, refugees can be provided with livelihood activities, and skills and vocational trainings, among others in a limited scale.  Based on findings of a needs assessment conducted thereafter, 10 trends of vocational skills needed in Myanmar and in the camps were identified for vocational skill development and continued skill development following Myanmar or ASEAN standard curriculum. The implementation of skill development opportunities is at the initial stage now.
