Rohingya refugees have no formal right to work in Bangladesh and are not covered by any Bangladeshi labour protection law. In absence of national legislation on refugees’ rights to work, there are no provision available in any other domestic laws or policies that protects refugees who are denied employment and self-employment opportunities the right of recourse to effective administrative or judicial remedies.
